Netflix fans SLAM ‘atrocious’ new no.1 movie as they complain they can’t even finish it
Netflix fans have slammed one of the platform’s original films just days after it was released.
Many reported that they “gave up” on watching the “horrific” film rather than bothering to finish it.
The streaming giant released Lift, starring Kevin Hart on January 12, and it was the most popular film of the day in Britain at the time of writing.
The heist comedy, which also stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, follows a group of professional thieves who take on a seemingly impossible mission: stealing $500 million in gold bars from the cargo hold of a plane while it’s mid-flight.
The film was supposed to be released last August, but that date was postponed due to the SAG-AFTRA strike.
