Netflix fans point out glaring error in Chris Hemsworth’s Extraction 2 as they slam the action film

Netflix fans have noticed a glaring editing error in Chris Hemsworth’s new action movie, Extraction 2.

While several viewers have praised the “bad**s” Hollywood actor and his “wild” scenes, others couldn’t help but notice a moment where the star shields herself from bullets fired from a helicopter with a ladder.

The scene shows an armed Hemsworth, playing commando Tyler Rake, opening a roll-up door as the helicopter sprays a hail of bullets into the confined space in which he is hiding.

He then takes cover behind an iron ladder for protection.

Share a clip from the moviewhich was released on Friday, a fan cheekily mocked the scene.

“Watching #Extraction2 and Chris Hemsworth just took cover behind a ladder,” they tweeted.

The moment drew a lot of attention from several others who took to social media to cover the sequel.

“Jesus, I thought the first one was bad! Terribly overrated,” one wrote.

“I liked the first one, but this was pretty awful,” added another.

One fan suggested that the VFX editors forgot to put a solid shield in front of Hemsworth’s character and instead mounted a ladder inside.

‘[Definitely] forgot to put the sleeve in,’ they said.

The Netflix movie is a direct sequel to the 2020 action thriller.

Meanwhile, many other viewers insist that the sequel is better than the first part.

Hemsworth plays Tyler Rake, who “barely survived his grievous injuries on his mission in Dhaka, Bangladesh” and joins his squad to face the next battle.

One fan wrote on Twitter, “Man, #Extraction2 is wild; like a video game brought to life. Hemsworth hitting people while his hands were on fire is top notch entertainment. Very cool train scene too.’

’30 minutes in extraction 2. This is the closest thing to sex. Chris Hemsworth is so good at whatever he does,” another tweeted, while a third added, “Just finished Extraction 2. What a movie! Crazy action. Strongly recommended.’

Viewers were overwhelmingly excited about the 21-minute, high-octane, single-shot action sequence.

“Hemsworth is bad**s and Hargraves’ directing is slick, it’s got more power, more action and more madness… Loved it!”

Another tweeted, “Had a great time with this. I enjoyed the first one just fine, but this one definitely improved the game in every way.

“That 21-minute one-shot sequence was fucking unbelievable. I have no idea how they managed that. Hemsworth is great. On to the next! #Extraction2.’

“That one continuous shot in Extraction 2 from the prison yard… 12 good minutes pure [fire],” someone else wrote.

Extraction 2 not only stars Hemsworth, but also Olga Kurylenko, Idris Elba, Golshifteh Farahani, Adam Bessa and Daniel Bernhardt.

Hemsworth recently opened up to star in the upcoming action thriller and discussed the stunts being done in the movie during an interview with Weekly entertainment.

The father-of-three stated that the big stunts are “the most detailed and exhausting combat training I’ve ever participated in.”

He went on to explain that, “We sort of went for the moon. In a very busy world of action, I think we’ve done something very unique.”

Extraction (2020) became a hit on Netflix, garnering around 99 million viewers within just four weeks of its release. Sam Hargrave notably directed both the first film and the sequel.
