Netflix fans mock new documentary as ‘bizarre’ and call it ‘intense propaganda’

A new Netflix documentary has baffled Brits as some called it ‘bizarre’ and ‘intense propaganda’.

Viewers were miffed that Netflix had commissioned 24 Hours in Tesco, with the film following the supermarket giant’s staff.

Netflix describes the documentary as ‘a one-off special that explores the secrets behind Britain’s largest supermarket chain and unpacks what 24 hours at Tesco is really like’.

Social media viewers were divided, with some thinking the 43-minute documentary simply served as an advertisement for the retailer.

Meanwhile, others praised the retailer, with one even claiming they gave up their night out to stay in to watch the Tesco documentary.
