Netflix fans hail true crime series with 100% Rotten Tomatoes score ‘insane and wild’

Bitconned was released on Netflix on January 1 and has already received an impressive 100 percent positive rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.

The series chronicles the cryptocurrency craze of the late 2010s and focuses specifically on the 2017 Centra Tech scandal, a company that operated in Florida.

Directed by Bryan Storkel, also known for The Legend of Cocaine Island, it stars real-life businessman Ray Trapani, who openly brags that he cooked up the whole scam.

In the documentary he said: ‘Crypto (was) just this new, undiscovered territory, completely unregulated by the SE. Every time you come across a market like that, you just have to figure out how to exploit it.”

Fans were shocked by Ray’s outspokenness, with viewers describing the Netflix original as “insane and wild.”
