Netflix fans have hailed the new ‘absolutely wild’ crime documentary as the closest thing to Tiger King.
Last Stop Larrimah, released on Netflix on Friday, is an Australian-based American crime documentary from Thomas Tancred.
It follows the 2017 disappearance of a resident of the real-life town of Larrimah, located in Australia’s Northern Territory.
With the town’s population being only 47 at the time, Paddy Moriarty’s disappearance meant that every other resident became a suspect.
The documentary was originally released on October 20 on max.com by HBO.

Fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, in droves to express their joy over the film, with some comparing it to Tiger King.

Despite the dark subject matter of Last Stop Larrimah, the documentary that follows eleven residents who have become suspects has funny moments.
One fan wrote: ‘Last Stop Larrimah on Netflix is amazing – the most gonzo story since Tiger King. It’s also the best advertisement for sunscreen use I’ve ever seen.”
Replying to another user, someone wrote: ‘Honestly it’s a murder documentary on Netflix called Last Stop Larrimah, but it’s a borderline comedy. You have to look at it.’
