Netflix fans have hailed a long-running cult series as “one of the best” they’ve ever seen.
Viewer response on the popular Facebook group Netflix Bangers, which has more than 3.2 million members, has been overwhelmingly positive.
The popular series ran for eight seasons between 2006 and 2013 and received many enthusiastic reviews from Facebook users.
They wrote: ‘I almost lost my job because of this show because I stayed up late at night and didn’t get up late to work the next day.
“If you’re going to watch this, make sure you’re on vacation and prepared to run a full marathon until you’ve finished it. It’s just so addictive and you won’t want to stop watching.”

Dexter follows the adventures of Dexter Morgan, who works for the police as a blood spatter analyst, but in his spare time as a killer only has other killers in mind.
The title character is played by Michael C. Hall, while the supporting roles are played by Jennifer Carpenter as Debra, Dexter’s adoptive sister and co-worker, and James Remar as Dexter’s adoptive father, Harry Morgan.
In addition to the eight seasons, two spin-off series related to Dexter have been produced: Dexter: New Blood will premiere in November 2021 and Dexter: Resurrection will air in the summer of 2025.
This latest film will also see the return of Michael C. Hall, who also joined the cast of the prequel Dexter: Original Sin as the inner voice of young Dexter, played by Patrick Gibson.
Production on the Original Sin prequel is still ongoing, with the series expected to premiere in December 2024.
Hall played the lead role in Dexter (8 seasons, from 2006 to 2013), a forensic investigator who works as a serial killer in his spare time, targeting murderers who have slipped through the justice system.
