The show, created by Mad Men star Hendricks, was reportedly canceled due to issues with contract negotiations for cast member Manny Montana, according to insiders.
Sources at the series, NBC and Universal Television, spoke to TV Line in the wake of the show’s cancellation, which came midway through its fourth season with five episodes remaining.
An insider noted at the time that Montana was not keen on taking a pay cut for the series, amid a “strained working relationship” with Hendricks.
