Netflix fans in awe of ‘must-watch’ show that they say makes for ‘brilliant’ viewing

Netflix fans are thrilled with a must-see drama series that they say is “brilliant” to watch.

In the Facebook group Netflix Bangers, which has more than three million members, viewers were wildly enthusiastic about a series with “lots of X-rated scenes.”

Fans were referring to Banshee, which ran for four seasons from 2013 to 2016. The series tells the story of a former convicted felon who assumes the identity of a murdered sheriff in the small town of Banshee, Pennsylvania, where he has a case to settle.

The main character of the series is played by Antony Starr. He assumes the identity of Sheriff Lucas Hood to hide from the powerful criminal Rabbit, played by Ben Cross.

Hood attempts to impose his own brand of justice and reconcile with his former lover, Anastasia (Ivana Milicevic), Rabbit’s daughter. Anastasia has started a new life, married and raised a family during Hood’s time in prison.

Netflix fans are raving about a ‘must-see’ drama that’s ‘brilliant’ to watch

Hood struggles to maintain his new identity as he teams up with his partners Job (Hoon Lee) and Sugar (Frankie Faison) to pursue crime – while also coming into conflict with local drug lord Kai Proctor (Ulrich Thomsen).

The first season focuses on Hood’s attempts to repair his relationship with Carrie, despite the danger of Rabbit finding them.

Hood shows a complete disregard for the law when he comes into conflict with Proctor and carries out his own criminal activities, alienating his own agents.

Rabbit eventually tracks him down and Hood surrenders to spare Carrie. Carrie then shocks the world by taking criminal henchmen and cops on a raid to free Hood and shoot Rabbit.

Fans praise the cult series for its exciting scenes and gripping stories.
