According to deadlinea Netflix spokesperson said the show had a natural ending, with storylines for the main characters.
The news of the show’s end comes just a day after lead actress Sarah Shahi admitted she “had no support” during the filming of season two.
There was speculation that Sex/Life would not be renewed following the news that Sarah had been cast as the lead in a pilot for ABC called Judgment.

The show also starred Mike Vogel as Billie’s husband Cooper, while Brad was played by Adam Demos.
Sarah wasn’t shy about venting her criticism of the work environment on Sex/Life during an appearance on the Not skinny Not fat podcast earlier this month.
She said, “I’m not going to put it down, but I certainly didn’t have the support I got the first season from the people involved with the show.”
“It became something completely different for me, and I’m not afraid to say that.
‘That’s part of what I do. I don’t always get along or agree with a filmmaker.
“I won’t always like what I have to do or say. But that’s my job, to make it believable.’
She added, “I’m never going to work for Netflix now after saying all this, but I can’t lie.”
In addition to her role in Sex/Life, Sarah was also known for appearances on the shows Person of Interest and Reverie.
