‘Nervous’ Chris Martin sends fans into meltdown as daughter Apple makes her debut at ‘nepo baby’ ball
Chris Martin made a rare appearance with his family when he joined ex Gwyneth Paltrow and daughter Apple Martin for her society debut at the Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris – leaving people all saying the same thing about their adorable father-daughter interactions.
The annual gathering, held Saturday at the Shangri-La hotel in Paris, invites young women from some of the prestigious – and wealthiest – families from Europe, Asia, Africa and the US to make their debut in society.
Martin, 20, wore a sensational sky blue Valentino Haute Couture dress as she attended the ball on the arm of her dashing date, Count Leo Henckel von Donnersmarck, before letting loose with her parents, who divorced in 2016.
But this evening they all hit the dance floor together, along with grandmother Blythe Danner, 81, and her younger brother, Moses, 18.
But one night, Apple joined her 47-year-old father, Coldplay frontman Chris, for a sweet moment together on the dance floor.
In one some videos posted on TikTok by the bill @gala.frthe two were spotted sharing an adorable slow dance together.
Chris, looking sharp in a black tuxedo, took his daughter’s hand and led her back and forth, at one point looking her straight in the eyes.
During the adorable dance, Chris laughed and smiled, and even took his daughter for a quick spin as they showed off their moves.

One commenter said: ‘I wonder if she realizes she has the coolest dad.’
In the same video which was posted on TikTok by @parismatchmore users took note of their seemingly amazing bond.
‘I like the light-hearted atmosphere. She’s having fun, but she’s a little unamused… instead of mortified. Beautiful… as it should be,” one commenter wrote.
