NeNe Leakes is being sued over alleged $22,900 in unpaid rent for her former clothing store Swagg Boutique in Georgia.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 55, is being sued by her landlord at the Lawrenceville shopping center Sugarloaf Mills. where the clothing store used to be located.
According to documents obtained by TMZthe landlord claims that Leakes first signed a lease in 2017 and then extended it for another year in 2021.
The landlord claims that Leakes vacated the property in January 2022 when the lease ended, but was unable to pay the $22,900 balance.
The landlord claims they sent Leakes a letter in July asking her to pay, but claims she never did.

The landlord is claiming damages to cover the rent plus attorney’s fees.
Swagg Boutique had multiple locations in Maryland, Georgia, and Florida, but closed in 2020 during the pandemic.
The stores eventually reopened, but “out of business sales” were held before the businesses closed for good.
DailyMail.com has reached out to NeNe Leakes representatives for comment.
This comes after the star said she is on a break with her boyfriend Nyonisela Sioh last month.
During an interview with Carlos King about his Reality with the king podcast on July 24, the Bravo celebrity said, “Today we’re taking a break. We’ve taken a break.
βIt’sβ¦ things I’m not happy about, things he’s not happy about. It’s just not working right now,” she said.

The couple has been dating since late 2021, when they were spotted holding hands as they exited a Miami Beach restaurant.
The now former couple met through NeNe’s RHOA castmate Cynthia Bailey’s ex-husband, Peter Thomas.
The couple made their red carpet debut at the 2022 BET Awards and she opened up Additional about how Nyonisela helped her get through the death of her husband Gregg Leakes.
“I can’t say that (Nyonisela) hasn’t helped me put a smile on my face,” she said at the time.
And she went on to talk about how she could find joy again, saying, “You have to be willing to be happy, and you have to change a lot in yourself.”
