The former English man has lost seven stones following ‘life-saving’ stomach surgery and a lifestyle change.

He gained weight after he stopped playing football, but three-quarters of his stomach was removed during surgery after hitting 27 bricks.

Neil is said to have drunk 20 liters of beer a day, while other food and drink contributed to a lifestyle he is determined to change.

He previously spoke exclusively to MailOnline about how he was “ballooning” during Covid and his struggles with the journey.

Speaking at his home in Kent, the ex-Liverpool and Spurs defender revealed his new diet has changed dramatically since he had surgery in September, when his weight ballooned to 27 stone.

Before the surgery, his meals filled a serving bowl, but now he can only handle small portions of one of his kids’ old cereals.

Razor says, “It looks a little pathetic eating out of this little bowl, but it’s literally all I can have right now, it fills me up.”

“I used to love burgers and big steaks, I cooked big meat dishes all the time — I splashed out on a brand new kitchen because I was so into cooking huge meals. I just don’t feel like it right now.’

Razor said his daily diet usually consists of two Weetabix for breakfast (he used to have five), served with warm milk and honey, plus a small cup of tea, followed by a children’s fruit jar as a morning snack.

Lunch often consists of an egg and a half omelette, then two bags of Skips to get him through dinner if he indulges in a small ready meal for one, such as shepherd’s pie.

Before going to bed, he eats a granola bar and two gingerbread cookies with a cup of coffee.

He says, “I never used to like cereal, but I eat it all the time now because when it’s mixed with milk, it digests well. The same goes for a bag of Skips.

“When I eat bread and meat, I feel really uncomfortable.”

Razor’s wife of 10 years Leah says the surgery took her husband years, and admits they are sleeping together again because his snoring has stopped as a result of his weight loss.

The former glamor model began initial communication with Transform Hospital Group, the clinic that performed the gastric sleeve surgery, after Razor told her about Arg’s transformation.

Leah, 41, says: ‘He looks just like he did when I met him – just a little grayer! When he was at his heaviest it was really worrying for me and the kids.

“When you’re out with him, you hear people say ‘oh my god, look how big he is – he’s waiting for a heart attack’.” It really upset me.

What is gastric sleeve surgery?

Gastric sleeve surgery, also called laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, is a weight loss option for patients with a body mass index (BMI) of 35 or higher.

The surgery involves removing about 70 percent of the outer stomach, as well as the part that produces ghrelin (an appetite hormone), leaving a narrow gastric tube that limits portion size.

With smaller portion sizes, patients will have a lower calorie intake to aid in weight loss.

Patients can expect to lose more than 50 percent of excess body weight within 12 to 18 months after the procedure.

Patients are advised to make behavioral changes after surgery by following a healthy diet and lifestyle.

Full recovery is expected to take up to six weeks, so strenuous activities should be avoided during this time.
