Neil Gaiman leaves Good Omens, which concludes with a 90-minute TV movie

According to Deadline’s sources, pre-production will resume without Gaimain, who had served as showrunner, writer and executive producer. Narrativia’s Rob Wilkins, representing the estate of Good omens co-creator Terry Pratchett will executive produce, while Josh Cole, head of comedy for BBC Studios, will also come on board. A new writer will be brought in to “finish the job” and adapt the final season of the series into one 90-minute episode.

Filming for the episode is expected to begin in early 2025, so it’s possible fans will get that closure within the year.
