Madeleine West shared a disturbing photo of herself on Saturday, after opening up about her battle with anorexia and being a victim of child sexual abuse.
The 42-year-old former Neighbors star posted the photo on Instagram that captures her looking depressed as she rests in a hospital bed with an IV drip in her vein.
She told her concerned fans that she had been pushing her body to the limit and was now taking time off to recover.
“There is no prize for honoring all commitments if the price is dishonoring your health,” he wrote.

Last month, Madeleine spoke out for the first time about her battle with anorexia, after revealing that she was the victim of child sexual abuse.
speaking to Stellar magazine, the 42-year-old said the trauma of being abused caused her to become obsessed with looking “perfect,” a task that was both “punishing” and never-ending.
‘For every sexually abused person, what has happened to them will manifest in their life in some self-destructive behaviour. They are never to blame,” he told the publication.
“There is no prize for honoring all commitments if the price is dishonoring your health,” he wrote.
West revealed that in her teens, shortly after the abuse stopped, she developed anorexia as a coping mechanism.
It comes weeks after the mother of six claimed she was regularly abused by a “monster” who lived in the town where she grew up.
She said Sun of the alleged abuse: ‘This monster ruined my life. I came out on the other side, yes, a survivor but happy to hold the title of victim.
