Neighbours star Daniel McPherson reveals the surprising secret behind his connection with girlfriend Jessica Dover
Daniel MacPherson has opened up about his blossoming romance with former WAG and House Rules star Jessica Dover, revealing the pair are still going strong.
The former Neighbours star, 44, said one of the things he appreciates most about his beautiful partner is how she has always been there for him throughout his challenging career.
“There are a lot of great things in my life. My relationship with Jess is one of them and we are such a great support for each other,” he said The Daily Telegraph.
“She supports me a lot. Because touring is hard on everyone. It’s hard on family and partners.”
MacPherson said he was delighted to be back in his hometown of Sydney after so many years on tour, where he starred in the play The Woman in Black with John Waters.
“A large part of my career has been spent outside of Sydney, which has kept family and friends apart for long periods of time,” he said.
‘I’m constantly travelling when I’m working, and then suddenly I’m not only back in Sydney, but I’m back doing theatre, in a spare, revealing performance.’
Daniels’ new show has been running in London’s West End for thirty years and opens in Sydney on Tuesday at the Theatre Royal.

In April last year, Daniel finally went official on Instagram with his partner Jessica.
Rumours of a romance began to emerge when the Neighbours actor was spotted at the races with the former AFL WAG and House Rules star.
Jessica confirmed the news by sharing a series of photos on Instagram in honor of Daniel’s birthday.
“Congratulations @danmacpherson I adore you,” she wrote in the caption.
Then Jessica reposted his Instagram Story’s tribute, also sharing a photo of the model standing by the ocean with the caption, “Birthday visitor.”
The new romance came two years after Dan split from actress Zoe Ventoura in December 2020 after five years of marriage.
The former couple, who have four-year-old son Austin together, posted nearly identical messages on Instagram at the time, revealing they had mutually decided to split.
