Krista spent a getaway at a luxury vacation home with David and his husband Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) and Nicolette Stone (Hannah Monson).
In moving scenes, Eden confronts Krista at the edge of a cliff and takes her arm to make her follow him.
After Krista’s lover Leo grabs her arm, a fight breaks out between him and Eden.
Hearing the fight a mile away, David intervened and charged at Eden to break up the fight, sending them plummeting off a cliff.
While David woke up shortly after the battle and Eden did not, the former doctor came to help him.
As Leo, Aaron and Krista ran downstairs to help David and Eden, David insisted he was fine and had just sprayed his ankle.
But when the trio took Eden to hospital, they soon returned to discover that David had died.
Close friends of David were shocked to hear about his sudden death.
