When Ramsay met St Summer Bay! Neighbors and Home and Away crossover as Kate Ritchie poses in selfie with Jason Donovan
They are both acclaimed entertainers who used their performance in an Australian soap opera to launch a long career in media.
And on Wednesday, former Home and Away star Kate Ritchie, 44, posed up a storm with Neighbors veteran Jason Donovan, 54, in a selfie shared to Instagram.
The soap stars looked cozy posing arm in arm as Jason visited the set of Kate’s new Nova breakfast radio show Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie.
The photo was captioned, “This one’s for all the Neighbors & Home and Away fans…When Scott met Sally.” referring to the couple’s respective on-screen soap characters.
Kate starred in Home and Away for 20 years from 1988 – 2008 while Jason appeared as Scott Robinson in Neighbors from 1986 – 1989.

Many of Kate’s fans went wild for the photo and begged their couple to work on a project together.
“Maybe this is a sign that Kate’s H&A character Sally Fletcher should move to Ramsay Street,” one fan joked, and others quickly agreed.
It comes after Kate announced she is continuing her career after being released from rehab last year following her shocking drunk driving charge.

The suspenseful series offers a never-before-seen account of the incredible investigative efforts of the WA police that finally apprehended the killer in 2016.
Last month, Kate reflected on her decision to seek professional help following her shock driving charge in August.
In December, Daily Mail Australia broke the news that Ritchie had entered an exclusive private mental health facility in Sydney to help her treat her alcohol addiction.
That said the former Home And Away star The Sunday Telegraph that after struggling with several personal challenges last year, she decided it was time to get help.
‘It was a long time coming. I sought professional help that I needed. Sometimes enough is enough,” she said.
