Neighbor’s horrific injury after local enemy booby-trapped parking sign with razor blades

A Mississippi man is in custody after a woman was seriously injured when she touched a booby-trapped parking sign.

After months of frustration over neighbors tampering with his “no parking” signs at his mobile home, Jason Scott Curle, 51, of Oxford allegedly taped razor blades around a homemade sign and placed it in the gravel of his driveway.

As a result, a woman who tried to move the deadly sign on November 20 was left with a deep cut on her right hand.

Jordan Jennings, manager of Sky Mart Bait Shop and Grocery, was assisting the victim when she ran into his store for help.

‘It wasn’t gouging or anything, but it was a cut. It did her good. She asked for a cloth, something to clean it,” he recounted WREG.

‘I rushed to get her one and she was very distraught [and] to be angry about something

Curle’s wife Michelle told the story later The Oxford Eagle that parents with children attending a nearby school blocked their gravel driveway during drop-off and pick-up almost every day, causing the couple misery.

But officers with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office soon realized the dangerous sign was posted on a site owned by the school and not on the duo’s property.

Since the incident, other members of the community have expressed shock and dismay.

“It’s sad that nowadays we find that we can’t really have a disagreement without being cruel or mean in life,” one said. VOS13.

Dorothy Smith, a local resident, was shocked by the act and said: ‘Oh, that’s terrible.’

Another local resident described the pain of cutting his hand on a razor blade, revealing it was ‘probably a nine out of ten’.

This comes months after an angry neighbor finally took revenge on a driver who had been parking in front of his house for three years.

Video footage showed a black Kia being towed away from the property, where it was left just in front of a ‘no parking’ sign.

A 30-minute clip of the incident was shared by the towing company on YouTube Everything automaticallywho came to remove the car on behalf of the complainant.

The camera shows a worker attaching the car to the back of a tow truck, ready to be pulled away.

Meanwhile, another turns the camera to show the bright red and black “no parking” sign that the property’s owners had posted.

This is the moment an angry neighbor finally got revenge on the driver who had parked in their car park for three years – despite there being a clear sign saying they couldn’t

The duo then towed the car away and shared an audio clip of the phone conversation the company later had with the car owner.

The back and forth went on for a while and the Everything Auto employee suggested that the driver pay to rent a private parking spot and he agreed that he should figure out a solution.

Under US law, it is not illegal to park in front of someone’s home if there is a parking space available on a public street. Even if it is directly in front of your house, anyone can park there.

Anyone from the public can park there, as long as it is not a designated space or a road subject to residents’ parking permits.
