Australian runner Nedd Brockmann has crossed the finish line of a mammoth 1,600km run to raise money for homelessness.
It took Brockmann just over 12 and a half days to complete the monumental 1,000-mile (1,609-kilometer) run just after 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday, raising more than $2.1 million for the homeless charity We Are Mobilize.
The runner burst into tears as he completed his final lap around Sydney’s Olympic Park before being swarmed by friends and family who congratulated him on the achievement.

Brockmann first rose to fame after running from Cottesloe Beach in Perth to Bondi Beach in Sydney in just 47 days in 2022.
Sprinting to the end of his previous run, the cult hero fell to the ground on Wednesday after running more than 38 marathons in less than a fortnight.
“I’ve never experienced anything like this before,” he said after crossing the line.
