Nearly half of all voters believe Joe Biden could be REPLACED on the Democratic ticket due to health concerns, while only a third of Americans believe the 81-year-old president has the mental and physical stamina to be president

Nearly half of all voters believe President Joe Biden can be replaced as the Democratic nominee in November’s presidential election, new polls show.

On Friday, a new poll from Monmouth University found that 20 percent of voters believed this was very likely and another 28 percent believed it was somewhat likely that the current president would ultimately not appear on the ballot.

In follow-up interviews with pollsters, voters said Biden will be replaced because of his “age, physical health or mental facilities,” while some Republican-leaning voters said they believed Biden would be cast aside by his party.

The same poll found that only 32 percent of voters believe Biden had the mental and physical stamina to be president.

That number was 52 percent when Biden ran for president in 2020, but Democrats, independents and Republicans have all lost confidence in the 81-year-old leader.

The survey found that 20 percent of voters said it was very likely and another 28 percent of voters said it was somewhat likely that President Joe Biden would be replaced as the Democratic nominee in the 2024 election.

Now only 72 percent of Democrats believe Biden is the president with mental and physical stamina, down from 91 percent four years ago.

Forty-eight percent of independents had confidence in Biden’s mental and physical stamina in 2020, now that number stands at 20 percent.

The number of presidents was always low among Republicans, but has fallen from 14 to 2 percent.

More Americans are currently comfortable with former President Donald Trump’s mental and physical stamina, the poll found.

A total of 51 percent said they believed Trump, 77, had the mental and physical capacity to be president.

That number is an improvement over how Trump was perceived during his time in office in the summer of 2020.

At the time, 45 percent of American voters believed the Republican had the mental and physical capacity to be president.

About a third of American voters believe former President Donald Trump can be ousted from the Republican ticket, though they cite his legal troubles more than any health concerns. Trump will be photographed at the New York Supreme Court on Thursday

Trump’s revival is due to a small number of Republicans, independents and even Democrats feeling more confident.

Currently, 90 percent of Republicans have confidence in Trump’s mental and physical abilities.

In 2020, that number was 88 percent.

The former president has gained the most ground among independents, as 57 percent now express confidence in his mental and physical abilities, up from 42 percent in 2020.

Four years ago, even though Trump had mental and physical stamina, 10 percent of Democrats now have 12 percent.

About a third of Americans currently believe that Trump can be replaced as the Republican Party’s candidate.

He is still vying for the nomination against the former UN ambassador. While Nikki Haley leads in delegates, she has won races in Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada and has a big lead in the next set of states.

However, 10 percent of respondents said it was very likely and another 22 percent said it was somewhat likely that Trump would be replaced on the ballot.

Most voters interviewed pointed to Trump’s legal troubles, while only a few said his health could push him from the Republican ticket.
