Brentford striker Neal Maupay has taken a dig at Scott McTominay as he continues to make his mark as the Premier League’s biggest villain.
Thomas Frank’s men earned a 1-1 draw against Manchester United thanks to Kristoffer Ajer’s strike in the 99th minute, which canceled out Mason Mount’s opener three minutes earlier.
Maupay and McTominay were involved in an off-ball battle as Brentford tried to launch an attack in the final moments.
Referee Simon Hopper booked both players for their involvement and Maupay took to social media to target the midfielder.
The Frenchman wrote on X: ‘This fan was desperate for my shirt’.

He ruffled feathers when he mimicked James’ Maddison’s darts celebration after scoring against Tottenham, leading to a heated confrontation between the two players on the pitch.
Maddison criticized the striker in his post-match interview following Tottenham’s 3–2 win in the match, with the pair clashing again on social media.

Just days later, Maupay clashed with Manchester City’s Kyle Walker when he was accused of making comments about the defender’s children.
The attacker has been criticized for his actions but has insisted he never crossed a line. He denies the allegations surrounding his alleged comments to Walker in his side’s 3-1 defeat to the Champions on February 5.
