NBA coach Rob McClanaghan, 43, who has worked with Steph Curry, LeBron James and Kevin Durant, has been arrested on drug and rape charges

A trainer who has worked with multiple NBA stars has been arrested and charged with rape and drugging for sexual intercourse, according to a statement from the Boston Police Department.

Rob McClanaghan, 43, has a list of previous clients including Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, Brooklyn Nets’ Kevin Durant and Golden State Warriors champ Steph Curry, according to his website.

McClanaghan was arrested Friday in Rhode Island after an alleged rape in Downtown Boston, the police report said.

He was detained in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, a day after an arrest warrant was issued on allegations of rape and drugging for sexual intercourse.

“This investigation and subsequent arrest are the result of an investigation by the Boston Police Sexual Assault Unit and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office,” the statement continued.

McClanaghan, of Warwick, Rhode Island, also cites disgraced Nets star Kyrie Irving, Lakers’ Russell Westbrook and MVP Derrick Rose as among those he has worked with.

McClanaghan moved into coaching after playing three years with the Syracuse University men’s basketball team.

The coach reportedly coached with Boston Celtics interim coach Joe Mazzulla at Bishop Hendricken High School in Warwick, Rhode Island.

The Celtics said in a statement that McClanaghan is not affiliated with the NBA team, the club reports WCVB.
