NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is making more than $48 million this season, but he’s clearly still keen on a good deal. He was spotted in the “cheap” section of a Target store in New York City on Saturday.
The Bucks star, who recently returned from the Paris Olympics, was spotted at a FiDi store doing some shopping.
And one observer even told Mail Sport that the ‘Greek Freak’ used his Target rewards number at checkout.
Antetokounmpo has earned more than $234 million in on-field earnings, according to Spotracand also has sponsorship deals with Nike and Google Pixel.
He has invested in Nashville SC and the Milwaukee Brewers, among other business ventures he has put money into.

The 29-year-old grew up in extreme poverty in Athens after his parents emigrated to Greece from Nigeria.
And he doesn’t stop to think that he’s more cost-conscious than many NBA stars.
“Cheap for myself, yeah. For me I don’t care, I don’t care about material,” he said on Serge Ibaka’s ‘How Hungry Are You?’ Show.
“But for my family, no. When it comes to my family, I give them more than I give myself.”
Former teammate Brandon Knight remembered in a 2014 Grantland Feature that a young Antetokounmpo would take home “six or seven” boxes of free food from the Bucks’ player lounge.

There is also a now famous anecdote that Sports Illustratedin which the rookie Antetokounmpo was spotted running to the Bucks’ arena (until a couple saw him and gave him a ride) on game day, after he had wired money to his family in Greece and realized he had reached his limit at the ATM.
