It took Toronto Raptors star RJ Barrett a second look to confirm that a Game of Thrones actor was sitting courtside during their game against the Lakers.
The team from the north went to the City of Stars on Sunday to take on LeBron James and Co. at the Crypto.com Arena.
After making a mistake while scoring a basket in the first quarter, the Canadian was walking to the Raptors bench to celebrate a possible three-point play when he noticed Nikolaj Coster-Waldau – who plays Jamie Lannister in the iconic series – was present.
Cameras captured Barrett hilariously needing a double take to make sure his eyes weren’t playing tricks on him. Meanwhile, Coster-Waldau was made to laugh by the Duke product’s reaction to his presence.
From another angle it could also be seen that Barrett played ‘Game of Thrones?’ confirmed. before heading to the free-throw line with a smile to sink his bonus point.
