NBA star Udonis Haslem hosts holiday shopping spree for children at Hollywood Walmart

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (WSVN) – NBA legend Udonis Haslem helped out some kids just in time for Christmas.
On Friday, the Udonis Haslem Foundation presented children in underserved communities with $200 gift certificates for a shopping spree at the Walmart along South State Road 7 in Hollywood.
The Miami Heat champion also joined the young buyers.
βIt’s my favorite part of the year, giving, and this is the season to give and be joyful,β Haslem said.
βI think it’s really nice, because it’s so sweet, and it’s like, it’s Christmas, so it’s a really cool thing to do, and I like it,β buyer Rihanna Walace said.
“I like it too,” said shopper Khloe Clayton.
Each child also received a backpack filled with goodies to celebrate the season.
