Marcus Smart is married to his longtime girlfriend Maisa Hallum, and the couple got married last week in California.
According to People, they got married in front of 300 close friends and family and included Smart’s former Boston Celtics teammates Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
‘What can I say? Dreams come true and this was the most incredible day,” Smart told People.
‘Maisa is caring, thoughtful, supportive and my best friend. I can talk to her about anything and everything. Becoming husband and wife means becoming one.’
The publication added that there was a free “marijuana bud bar” and Raising Cane’s chicken was provided for a midnight meal.

NBA star Smart left the Boston Celtics earlier this year to join the Memphis Grizzlies
The couple, who are said to have met in 2017, then headed to Bora Bora for a honeymoon.
The day before the wedding, Smart posted on Instagram: “Wow, I never thought I would live to see that day. From boy to man: starting this new chapter with you is a blessing and more!
“Thank you for fighting me. When the going gets tough, we never hesitate. To Mr. and Mrs. Smart…I love you.”
When Smart returns, his focus will inevitably turn to the upcoming NBA season.
Smart was traded from the Celtics to the Memphis Grizzlies in July and when he joined, he promised to be a leader in the locker room.
“That’s who I am,” Smart told Chris Vernon in an interview. “That was who I was at Boston.
“That’s one of the reasons why my name and my reputation appeal to me so much, because I am that man.
“I’m not the man to just talk about it either, I’m going to go out and show you my actions too.”
The preseason campaign for the Grizzlies begins on October 8 with a warm-up game against the Indiana Pacers.
The NBA season itself starts for Smart and his new team on October 25 at home against the New Orleans Pelicans.
