Former NBA champion Dwight Howard revealed his relationship with rapper Amy Luciani by announcing their engagement on Instagram.
The couple went public with their relationship, sharing their engagement in separate posts on Friday.
The Love and Hip Hop Atlanta 2023 alum shared a video of the former Orlando Magic poster boy admiring her diamond engagement ring at a club and explained how they kept their relationship under the radar for a while.
“I was enjoying you so much, out of the public eye, but here we are,” Luciani wrote. ‘Thanks for bringing me back to talking. Everything I say or worry about, the first thing you say is, “Have you prayed about it?” Then I realized that I hadn’t prayed much at all lately. I’m just grateful, happy and ready for whatever comes our way.
“I prayed deeply on a Thursday, not knowing that two days later God would send me a Bible totin, a tattooed giant with the same heart as me. Thank you.’
Luciani’s post included photos and videos of them from various occasions, including Howard’s 39th birthday on December 8.
The eight-time NBA all-star responded to the comments with an infinity emoji, a red heart emoji and a lock and key emoji.
Howard also took part in the big reveal, posting photos with his fiancée at the Atlanta screening of “Den of Thieves 2,” which he hosted on Wednesday.
“Happy,” he captioned it with the hashtags “black love” and “bad for this.”
The couple confirmed the news after a video of them showing off the ring at a club surfaced online on Thursday.
