Chicago Bulls legend and Basketball Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman will return to the United Center on Saturday as the 62-year-old makes a shock debut with All Elite Wrestling.
Rodman’s stint in Chicago saw him win three straight NBA titles alongside Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, establishing himself as one of the city’s most iconic figures.
AEW – which is led by Tony Khan – has been posted on X, formerly known as Twitterthat Rodman will appear on this weekend’s episode of AEW Collison as his first square-circle appearance since 2008.
Rodman has previously appeared in WCW, where he wrestled several matches after debuting as ‘The Worm’ and joining Hulk Hogan and the nWo between 1997 and 1999. Due to a famous incident in 1998, Rodman infamously missed training to appear on an episode of WCW. Nitro.
He also notably appeared on Hulk Hogan’s reality show Celebrity Championship Wrestling in 2008 and has not been involved in professional wrestling since.

It was also announced earlier this week that Rodman would also appear this weekend at the Starrcast VI convention, which will take place in Chicago in conjunction with Sunday’s AEW “All Out” pay-per-view.
There’s no word yet on whether Rodman will appear at the pay-per-view, but that information could become apparent during his appearance on Saturday’s episode of Collison.
AEW is currently in the middle of a busy road for the company, with record attendance after more than 81,000 people attended the ‘All In’ pay-per-view last weekend.
The company is also dealing with the fallout from a backstage physical confrontation between CM Punk and Jack Perry that could cause last-minute changes to the upcoming All Out and Collison shows, which may include Rodman’s appearance.

Punk has been at the center of several controversies during his time with the company, including last year’s “Brawl Out” incident and recent reports that several superstars have been sent home by Collison amid backstage tensions.
Rodman spent 14 years in the NBA during his Hall of Fame career, having successful stints with the Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks and of course the Bulls.
He averaged 7.3 points and 13.1 rebounds and amassed a long list of individual defense and rebounding awards.
In addition to the three consecutive NBA Finals wins he recorded in Chicago, Rodman also won two NBA championships during his time with Detroit.
