- Include outraged parents
A teacher has been recorded launching a foul-mouthed diatribe and hurling verbal abuse at his students.
The high school teacher had taught at Nayland College in Nelson, New Zealand’s South Island.
A student then secretly filmed the moment he erupted with the teacher heard swearing at least nine times in 40 seconds.
He was heard complaining about how long it took students to complete a task and at one point even mocked them saying it “isn’t even hard.”
Local parents were outraged by the footage and demanded that the school fire the teacher before the principal stepped in and refused to bow to pressure.

The clip begins with the teacher scolding a female student for talking about something other than the task set for the class.
“So hurry up and get your shit together,” he said.
He is seen quickly shifting his attention to the other students, while also yelling and berating them for not performing at the level he expected.
He is heard mocking the students as “useless” several times.
“You’ve been useless today, f***ing useless actually,” he said.
“It took an hour to do a damn thing. Actually nothing. You glued four straws to four pieces of paper. Useless!’
The teacher became increasingly visibly upset, claiming that they would have trouble with an upcoming test if they couldn’t complete the simple task.
“When it’s time to do the assessment, you’re going to mess around…” he said.
‘Then you want my help and I’ll go. What did you do last time? And you’re going to say, “Well, I whistled for it.” Stop messing around!!
“This is simple, this is not even difficult.”
A shocked mother shared the images after the incident on Facebook.
She claimed she immediately withdrew her child from Nayland College.
“I am not sending my child to school to be abused and apparently this is not a criminal offense? So wrong!’ she said.
‘[Here is the] Video of that teacher who assaulted his class two weeks ago and was back at school two days later.”
“It is appalling behavior from someone who is meant to educate our children, we are not sending them to school to be abused”
The university’s principal, Daniel Wilson, emailed parents to explain that the school was working through policies and processes in response to the teacher’s behavior.
He told Daily Mail Australia the school took the matter ‘very seriously’ and while he was personally ‘disgusted’ by the teacher’s behaviour, there was no reason for his dismissal.
“Both myself and the board took legal advice throughout the process,” he said.

“The employee was found guilty of misconduct, but the only advice we had was that it did not meet the level required for dismissal, although he now has a final warning and different conditions for his continued employment.”
He said the matter was being handled by Nayland College’s Board of Trustees.
An irate mother called the teacher’s behavior “absolute bulls***”.
“He seriously needs some treatment. Why is he a teacher?’ she wrote on Facebook.
“He doesn’t teach those kids anything except to show them how to be rude.
