Comedian Natasha Leggero reveals why she went topless during set at the Hollywood Improv: ‘I was trying to make a point’

Comedian Natasha Leggero made a statement when she went topless at the Hollywood Improv.

On Saturday, Leggero took off her shirt and jacket when she took the stage after a performance by shirtless comedian Bert Kreischer.

Leggero, 49, spoke about the stunt that made headlines video obtained by Page six, revealing he was just trying to make a point.

“People are shocked that you,” the photographer began as he approached Leggero before she intervened. “Do you have such big tits?”

“Do you think more comedians will do that?” he continued.

‘Absolutely not. Nobody wants to do that. I was trying to make a point,” Natasha continued.

When her husband Moshe Kasher was asked what the point was, he hilariously said, “It’s that she doesn’t feel her husband. It’s actually a bigger story.’

Describing her motivation on Instagram, Natasha posted a video of the shirtless move and wrote in the caption: “bert took off his shirt so I did too.”

In video obtained by TMZ, Natasha is introduced to the audience by Bert, a cartoon character known for his shirtless appearances. On stage, she took off her jacket and top, exposing her breasts.

“If the boys can do it, why can’t the girls?” she asked the crowd.

Leggero’s actions seemed to be well received by the crowd as those in attendance were able to cheer loudly for her before she put her jacket back on and began her set.

The performer’s stunt also surprised Kreischer, who exclaimed: ‘Holy s***! Oh, hell yes! I have to take off my pants now!’

Several other high-profile comedians, including Tiffany Haddish and David Spade, also attended the event.

“I just had a baby four years ago,” she joked at the start of her set.

The comedian then spoke about the disadvantages of motherhood, which were outweighed by her joy at becoming a mother.
