And the Hollywood star made a solitary figure on Wednesday night as she watched Matildas’ loss in the semi-final of the FIFA Women’s World Cup at Sydney’s Accor Stadium without her husband by her side.
Portman’s dejected appearance was a far cry from her cheerful disposition when she and Benjamin saw the South Sydney Rabbitohs play at the same venue in 2021.
On Wednesday, the 42-year-old Black Swan actress made a gloomy impression as she watched the exciting match against England alongside American tennis legend Billie Jean King.
Wearing a Matildas beanie for the outing, Portman braced himself against Sydney’s cold weather in a thick jacket worn over a long-sleeved shirt and jeans.

However, a source close to the actress tells DailyMail that reports of the divorce are just “rumors” and “speculation” and no final decision has been made.
“After the news of his affair came out, they have been trying to work on their marriage, but are currently dying out,” a source tells Us Weekly.
Millepied, 46, who has been married to Portman for 11 years, is said to have had an affair with a 25-year-old woman.
