Natalie Bassingthwaighte’s enormous post-divorce windfall revealed as she sells her Byron Bay home

Natalie Bassingthwaighte and her estranged husband Cameron McGlinchey have sold their Byron Bay home just months after slashing the price.

And the actor and singer, 48, has walked away with a significant windfall after splitting from her musician ex-husband.

The building, with two detached buildings, was initially listed as a monument in August for $3 million to $3.25 million, but was sold for in between $2.7 million to $2.9 million.

The Rogue Traders singer and her fellow bandmate bought the Byron Bay hinterland estate for $2.5 million in 2020.

Natalie and Cameron managed to move from Melbourne before the coronavirus pandemic hit, selling their Brighton home for a reported $4 million.

Set on a 4,758 square meter block, the house features a swimming pool and a separate one-bedroom guest house.

The renovated main house has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open plan living area with wooden floors and lighting.

A sleek, modern kitchen has a walk-in pantry, induction hob, stone worktops and a spacious large island.

It also opens onto a spacious covered outdoor living area and the property is surrounded by 1.17 hectares of privacy, tropical gardens and a manicured lawn.

Natalie and Cameron split in August 2023 after 13 years of marriage.

The Herald Sun reported at the time that the couple separated in late 2022 and were “working amicably to co-parent their two children.”

The couple, who married in 2011, share daughter Harper, 13, and son Hendrix, 10.

Natalie made her public debut with new partner Pip Loth during a low-key getaway in Queensland in April this year.

She was spotted walking with her non-binary lover while the pair ran errands with a male friend.

Looking absolutely defeated, Natalie beamed and joked with Pip as the pair held hands as they walked through a car park.

Before finding love, Natalie and Pip worked together on the 2021 Melbourne production of Jagged Little Pill.

Natalie then revealed she was dating a woman in a 2023 interview with Stellar magazine and later revealed Pip’s name on Instagram 10 days later.

“I am in a beautiful relationship with a woman who makes my heart smile and makes me very happy,” she revealed to the magazine.
