Natalie Bassingthwaighte spotted in public with her new partner Pip Loth for the first time as the lovers stroll arm-in-arm during Queensland outing

Natalie Bassingthwaighte made her public debut with new partner Pip Loth during a low-key outing in Queensland last weekend.

The Rogue Traders singer, 48, was spotted strolling with her non-binary lover on Saturday as the pair ran errands with a male friend.

Looking absolutely defeated, Natalie beamed and joked with Pip as the pair held hands as they walked through a car park.

Natalie, who came out as queer last year, went braless in a cream singlet top, wide ripped jeans and Ugg boots, accessorizing her look with a leopard print satchel and understated jewellery.

The mother-of-two appeared to go makeup-free for the low-key outing, tying her hair into a bun and pushing her bangs back with a pair of sunglasses.

Pip, who works as a stage manager at the Queensland Theater Company, meanwhile made a statement in a black vest top, saying: ‘Certainly not everyone was doing Kung Fu fighting.’

They added mustard shorts, black high-top sneakers and several bracelets, while adding sunglasses to their heads.

Both Natalie and Pip showed off their extensive tattoo collections, with the former sporting a star and Saturn-inspired ink on her arms, while the latter showed off a cat-inspired design.

Before finding love, Natalie and Pip worked together on the 2021 Melbourne production of Jagged Little Pill.

Last August it emerged that Natalie had quietly split from her husband Cameron McGlinchey.

Natalie then revealed she was dating a woman in an interview with Stellar magazine on November 19, and later revealed Pip’s name on Instagram ten days later.

“I am in a beautiful relationship with a woman who makes my heart smile and makes me very happy,” she revealed to the magazine.

During her Stellar interview, Natalie confirmed that Cameron knew about her new relationship.

As media interest in her private life increased, Natalie said she immediately called her ex-husband “hysterically” out of fear she would be exposed.

‘He said, “It’s OK. This is your truth and you have to sit and stand in it now and own it,” she revealed.

Natalie and Cameron married in 2011 and share daughter Harper, 13, and son Hendrix, 10.

A friend of the soap star told Ny Breaking Australia: ‘They never really had a conventional relationship.

‘They both placed the children in a happy home and were able to come and go, sharing parenting and other responsibilities.

“The way they’ve been able to remain friends is impressive.”
