Natalie Barr’s shock revelation about her TV look as she reveals behind the scenes secrets on Sunrise set

Natalie Barr has revealed the secret behind her flawless locks when she’s on air.

The Sunrise host appeared in a video on the show’s official Instagram page on Monday and explained that she wears extensions.

“I work in television, of course I take my hair out at the end of the day,” the television personality said.

Natalie then demonstrated which part of her hairstyle is fake by pulling out a row of clip-in brunette extensions from her locks.

After the hairpiece was removed, Natalie’s hair looked finer, but still bouncy and shiny.

It comes after Natalie revealed what clothes her stylists ‘avoid’ her while hosting the Channel Seven breakfast show, including anything ‘shiny, bulky, with thin stripes or checks’.

Revealing her fashion secrets to The Daily Telegraphsaid the 55-year-old: ‘Every time I wear flowers, people say I look like my grandmother’s sofa.

‘When I wear a see-through top, people say I look like I’ve just come from a night out. We try to stick to solid colors, but avoid shiny, thick, thin stripes and checks.’

Natalie went on to say that her colorful style on the show is worlds away from the “black, navy and brown” outfits she chooses in “real life.”

However, the TV star said she enjoys being able to show “a different version” of herself on screen.

Natalie said being able to wear a range of Australian brands, from brands like Camilla and Marc, Zimmerman and Scanlan Theodore, is a fun part of her job.

She explained that since replacing Samantha Armytage as host of the hit show, she has become more open-minded by working with stylists who say ‘give it a try’.
