Nashville police have responded to a shooting at the Bordeaux Branch Library in Nashville, Tennessee.
Nashville police told DailyMail.com that two suspects shot at two victims shortly before 4 p.m. Thursday and that both were “possibly known” to the shooters.
One of the targets was rushed to Skyline Medical Center with serious injuries, while the other was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials said both suspects fled the crime scene, with one fleeing down a residential street and the other gunman escaping behind a Kroger’s convenience store.
A large police presence descended on the library after the shooting, and about a dozen officers were joined by a K-9 unit and a SWAT team, according to The Tennessee.

The gunmen are still on the run, according to police. One wore a white T-shirt and gray shorts, the other wore a hoodie and white tennis shoes.
One of the victims was shot in the library and another outside.
Following the shooting, the library issued a statement saying the branch will remain closed for the next two days while police investigate.
It is currently unknown what prompted the shooting, and police said the situation was “fluid” as they worked to gather information about the incident.
