Victor Osimhen has given another update on his situation at Napoli amid reported interest from other top European clubs and has admitted that he will hold talks with his current clubs at the end of the season.
Osimhen has cemented his status as one of the world’s most powerful strikers at Napoli this season, scoring 23 goals in 29 appearances in all competitions and is expected to be in high demand once the summer transfer window opens.
Manchester United are on the hunt for a new centre-forward and are rumored to be interested in starting negotiations with Napoli over a possible deal for Osimhen.
The 24-year-old has expressed his admiration for playing in the Premier League and provided another update on his future when asked about United’s apparent interest in an interview with Sport1.
‘I don’t know what the future holds. I think I’m on the right track,’ Osimhen said.

‘At the end of the season, I’m going to sit down with my agents and talk about everything. I will also be in talks with the club.
I am incredibly grateful to Naples. We will find a good solution together,’ he added.
If he decides to trade Italy for England in the summer, Osimhen could cap off an already spectacular individual season with Serie A and Champions League titles.
Napoli hold an 18-point lead at the top of the Italian top flight and look poised to lift their first league title since 1990, with Osimhen the division’s top scorer.
The Nigerian increased his Champions League tally for the season to four goals with a brace in Wednesday’s win over Frankfurt that saw Napoli advance to the competition’s quarterfinals.
Osimhen has scored 19 league goals this season and leads the charge as Serie A’s top scorer.
Osimhen has previously expressed his desire to leave Napoli and play in the Premier League.
Any potential deal for his services would likely come with a price tag in excess of £100m, meaning only a handful of the world’s biggest clubs could afford to sanction the star’s move.
He currently has over two years left on his current contract with Napoli after joining the club from French Ligue 1 side Lille in 2020.
Osimhen previously expressed his desire to move to the Premier League after telling reporters at a recent awards ceremony that he is “working hard to achieve his dream of playing” in the English top flight.
Meanwhile, Manchester United apparently also have a firm interest in Tottenham’s star striker Harry Kane, but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is reportedly unwilling to let the England captain leave the club in the summer window.
