AC Milan striker Rafael Leao scored twice to give his side a superb 4-0 away win over leaders Napoli in Serie A on Sunday, lifting Stefano Pioli’s side to third in the standings.
Milan have 51 points, one ahead of fourth-placed Inter Milan and four behind second-placed Lazio. Napoli is 20 points clear at the top.
The visitors took the lead in the 17th minute when Brahim Díaz sent a through ball to Leao, who at the touch finished it elegantly over Napoli goalkeeper Alex Meret.
Díaz doubled the lead eight minutes later when he received a cross inside the box, hit a dummy that stranded Napoli defender Mario Rui and sent the ball into the net with a deflection.
Milan effectively ended the game 14 minutes into the second half when Leao ran into the box, twisted past three Napoli defenders and fired his shot.

Leao opened the scoring by passing the ball over the head of Napoli goalkeeper Alex Meret.
Spaniard Brahim Diaz then scored to put AC Milan 2-0 up 25 minutes into the game.
Alexis Saelemaekers scored the fourth in the 67th minute with a solo shot past four defenders before flicking the ball through Meret’s legs.
The result ultimately didn’t hurt Napoli too much as they hold a 16-point lead at the top of Serie A with ten games to play.
Although AC Milan will have great confidence in the result, especially since they play against Napoli in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
