Naomi Watts is seen for FIRST time since ex Liev Schreiber expecting first child with girlfriend

Naomi Watts showed off her chic sense of style when she was spotted in NYC for the first time on Friday since news broke that her ex, Liev Schreiber and girlfriend Taylor Neisen, are expecting their first child together.

The Watcher actress, 54, who recently flaunted her ageless complexion on a lavish trip to Mexico, was spotted with a close friend in the Big Apple ahead of an outing.

Earlier on Thursday, DailyMail.com learned exclusively that the star’s ex and Ray Donovan actor, 55, will welcome his first baby with Taylor, 31, after five years of dating.

Watts and Schreiber also share two children, Alexander “Sasha,” 16, and Samuel Kai, 15, from their 11-year relationship that ended in 2016.

Stepping out onto the bustling city streets, the Oscar-nominated actress opted for stylish comfort in a pair of loose-fitting light blue jeans with a hem that fell below her ankles.

She added a plain white shirt tucked into the high waist of her fashionable trousers and paired the look with a long, white blazer that she chose to leave open.

The British-born star draped a cream-colored sweater over her shoulders and tied her arms in a loose knot for a stylish flare.

Her short blonde locks were parted to the side and fell down almost touching her shoulders in light waves.

A large tan bag could easily be slung over her right shoulder to hold a few items she might need during her busy day.

Naomi accessorized her ensemble with a pair of small, dainty earrings and thin, chained necklaces that were partially hidden by her outfit.

The King Kong actress slipped into a pair of open-toed wedges that were slightly covered by her baggy jeans.

As she walked to a waiting car, the mother-of-two also carried a black paper bag to store other items she might need on the day of travel.

The award-winning star was also seen next to a close friend who had a small suitcase beside her as they stepped out into the fresh air.

Naomi’s outing comes shortly after DailyMail.com exclusively learned on Thursday that her ex, Liev Schreiber, is expecting his first child with girlfriend of five years, Taylor Neisen.

Watts and the actor had previously started dating in 2005 and welcomed their first child in 2007 and their second the following year in 2008.

However, after being together for 11 years, the two stars chose to go their separate ways in September 2016, but have maintained a healthy co-parenting relationship.

At the time of their split, the couple released a joint statement to further express their decision, which said, “Over the past few months, we have come to the conclusion that the best course of action for us as a family is to separate as a couple, ‘ per Us weekly.

“With great love, respect and friendship in our hearts, we look forward to raising our children together and exploring this new phase of our relationship.”

The statement ended with, “While we appreciate your curiosity and support, we ask the press to be considerate of our children and to respect their right to privacy.”

Since the end of their relationship, Liev started dating Taylor, a former beauty pageant contestant, with whom he had a romantic relationship for the first time in 2018.

After meeting on the set of the Netflix drama series Gypsy, Naomi began dating fellow actor Billy Crudup in 2017.

Earlier last week, Liev and Taylor were seen opting for casual comfort as they enjoyed a quiet walk in NYC together.

Neisen appeared to have a baby bump as she donned leggings and a plain top while walking their adorable pup.

Since their split, Naomi and Liev continue to co-parent with their blended families. Last May, Naomi and her partner, Billy, were seen in an Instagram selfie celebrating Kai’s graduation.

Their other son, Alexander, as well as Naomi’s ex, Liev and his girlfriend, Taylor, were also seen in the photo as they all smiled cheerfully for the cameras.

During an earlier interview with Porter Edit in 2019, the actress told The Impossible about their blended families and co-parenting together. ‘We do it very differently.’

“I’m quite proud of us, trite as that may sound. We have made it our absolute priority to be good and kind to each other and we are absolutely committed to that.”
