Naomi Watts enjoys a stroll with her dog in NYC after sharing her ‘love’ for ex-Liev Schreiber’s newborn baby Hazel

Naomi Watts and ex-Liev Schreiber have shown in the past that they are united in the interests of their blended family.

So it comes as no surprise that the actress would offer her love and support to her former longtime partner and his new wife Taylor Neisen after they confirmed the arrival of their newborn daughter.

‘We love baby Hazel!!’ Watts responded to Schreiber’s baby news report on Wednesday.

A day later, Watts was spotted taking a walk with her four-legged family member, Izzy, in her adopted hometown of New York City.

The 21 Grams star, who shares her two children with Schreiber, kept it casual-cool in the fashion department, wearing blue jeans and a black sleeveless top that hugged her slim figure.

The 54-year-old from Shoreham, Kent, England, stepped out for some quiet time with her pet in a pair of brown sandals and stylish sunglasses.

On this day, she styled her blonde locks long and straight, just past her shoulders, with a part just a little to the right.

As she strolled down the sidewalk with Izzy, Watts appeared to be engaged in a conversation on her cell phone.

She eventually crossed the street and met a few other people who were walking their dogs at the time.

The day before, Schreiber took to his Instagram page to not only announce the birth of his daughter, but also confirm her name.

“So happy Hazel Bee is finally here,” the Ray Donovan actor began in the caption, alongside a photo of Hazel’s little hand and a photo of her little foot.

He continued: “She arrived early on the morning of August 27 and has been a dream every day since. Mother and baby are both very happy and healthy. Thank you everyone for the love and support.”

Reactions from family, friends and fans, including Watts, have since poured in, expressing their congratulations, love and support.

Last year, Watts and Schreiber showed they were able to give their blended family a head start on any bitter issues they might still have in the seven years since their 2016 divorce.

The former couple, who were an item for 11 years, posed for a photo with their new spouses as they celebrated the June 2022 graduation of Watts and Schreiber’s child, Kai, then 13 years old.

The exes’ then 15-year-old son, Sasha, was also seen in the family photo.

“Congratulations to Kai Class of 2022 #modernfamily #graduation,” Watts captioned the happy moment, which also included her longtime partner Billy Crudrup, whom she married last June, and Neisen, whom Schreiber married in July.
