Naomi Watts looked quintessentially gorgeous as she and beau Billy Crudup attended the launch party for her new brand Stripes in Southern California’s Pacific Palisades neighborhood.
The TV and movie star, 54, appropriately wore a sparkly striped dress while her partner, also 54, donned a button-up shirt and dark trousers.
The award-winning actress created Stripes because beauty brands didn’t accurately “represent” menopausal women.

The Watcher star – who entered perimenopause at age 36 – felt there was a “clear” need for the beauty industry to address the “scalp to vag” impact caused by the changes in hormones.
The actress told In style magazine: “It became clear to me that while some brands were targeting women of my age group, I didn’t feel they were representing the women in a fair way, whether it was through their ad campaigns or just their general messages.
“You’d find 26-year-olds or 28-year-olds in their ads, and that just seemed like a promise we could never deliver. And it actually makes you feel bad because you don’t see yourself represented in that bit of storytelling.’
Naomi — whose brand includes “hair and body things” such as “Dews As I Do” brightening serum and “The Crown Pleaser” densifying hair mask — felt it was important to add “vaginal products” to counteract dryness caused by menopause .

She said: ‘We’ve added hair and body things, and then the vaginal products, because that’s also an area that suffers.
‘One thing people say about menopause is that libido decreases, and of course a little bit because our hormones no longer control our mood. But it doesn’t mean that we don’t think about sex anymore or that we don’t want sex anymore; we still have desire.’
She added: ‘You just have to get a little more organized and put in a little more effort because women can be put off by sex when things dry up and it gets painful. But I notice that things have actually gone quite well after the menopause.’

The Mulholland Drive star – who shares daughter Kai, 13, and son Sasha, 15, with ex Liev Schreiber, 55 – will not be ‘silent’ during the trial, unlike the women who came before her.
Naomi said, “I think we’re the first generation that really knows how to use the internet that’s gone through menopause, so there’s never really been a platform for [this].
“It feels like an intergenerational thing that we’re doing because we now realize what our mothers and grandmothers went through in silence, alone.
And we say we will not be silent in our suffering.’
