Naomi Campbell reveals her two-year-old daughter has ALREADY picked up her mom’s diva attitude – as she shares rare insight into ‘fun’ AND frustrations of motherhood
Naomi Campbell has provided a rare insight into her life as a mother of two, admitting that her two-year-old daughter has already adopted her diva attitude.
The 53-year-old supermodel told Today presenter Sheinelle Jones, 45, that while she is having “great fun” raising her toddlers – a daughter and son, who arrived in June – she has had to discipline her eldest for being demanding ‘privacy’ at parties.
“I love it,” Campbell said of motherhood. ‘It’s a lot of fun. Every day is a surprise. You don’t know what will happen, what my daughter will say.’
Campbell lifted the lid of her daughter’s lock and continued, “She’s going to a party and she’s like, ‘Mom, privacy!’ and I’m like, “huh?” And I said, “Not to your mother. You can do that to anyone, but to me!”

The supermodel, who is notorious for her own diva-like behavior, then joked, “I don’t know where she got it!”
Known for being notoriously late, Campbell received a stern warning for arriving three hours late during the filming of Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie in 2015.
“Maybe no one ever asked her to be on time in the past — they just expected her to be a diva,” her co-star Jennifer Saunders told Page Six.
Campbell also once told fellow judge Nicole Trunfio on the reality show The Face, “Don’t compare yourself to me… you’re not on my level and you never will be.”
And in 2019, she shared a video documenting her airplane routine, in which she thoroughly cleans her business class compartment on board and puts on a hand-washed seat cover.

Her arrival led to widespread speculation that she was using a surrogate mother, a popular approach among elderly celebrity mothers, as she was not spotted with an obvious baby bump in the months leading up to the birth.
Campbell has previously alluded to surrogacy, claiming that science has given her the chance to start a family “whenever she wants.”
The London-born model announced in June that she has become a mother again at the age of 53.
She confirmed the arrival of a baby boy on Instagram and posted a photo of her newborn son in her arms while her daughter held his hands.
She told her followers at the time, “My little darling, know that you are cherished beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence.
“A true gift from God. Blessed! Welcome little boy. It’s never too late to become a mother.’
While Campbell has not made public his name or details of his birth, her friends claim she used a surrogate mother to have him.

They told the Daily Mail: ‘It came as a surprise to her wider circle after telling only a handful of people that she was becoming a mother for the second time.
Suddenly she postponed a work commitment because she had to be by her surrogate mother’s side, and the next moment she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. There was a lot of surprise, and of course happiness.’
It is clear that Campbell is raising her children alone and is not in a romantic relationship.
She has previously had high-profile romances with the likes of rapper Skepta, billionaire Vladislav Doronin and was linked to Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio.
Earlier this week, Campbell unveiled her new 90-piece PrettyLittleThing collection in New York.
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, she hit back at critics of her partnership with the online brand, pleading that “fashion shouldn’t discriminate.”
She said: “I think this collection is fun, chic, sexy, vibrant and inclusive, and that fashion shouldn’t discriminate… who’s to say PrettyLittleThing won’t continue to collaborate with young creatives and lead and change the in terms of sustainability, who knows . new beginnings.’

Campbell said working with PrettyLittleThing has been an energizing experience after decades of wearing the designs of other fashion houses as she becomes the changing face of a new era.
She added, “I worked for everyone for years. It’s nice to do something for me.
“When they think of working with someone, they never come to the actual models, but mostly to the celebrities.
“There are a few other models who are into fast fashion, and they’ve been completely praised and adored and loved.
“I don’t think about other people when I say yes to something. When I understand it and see what it can be, then I commit myself to the things I do.’
