Naomi was joined by model friend Alton Mason, PrettyLittleThing founder Umar Kumani and his fiancée Nada Adelle over the holidays.

The stately star stunned fans by announcing the birth of her daughter last May, just weeks after she appeared on the New York Fashion Week runway without a visible baby bump.

She later insisted that her daughter not be adopted amid growing speculation about their biological ancestry.

Speaking to British Vogue in February as she posed with her daughter for a cover shoot, the model confirmed: “She’s not adopted – she’s my child.”

Naomi played coy during the new interview, and despite confirmation that her daughter has not been adopted, she declined to elaborate on her firstborn.

However, she admitted that very few of her wide circle of friends and relatives knew that she intended to grow older.

She explained: “I can count on one hand the number of people who knew I had her. But she is the greatest blessing I can ever imagine. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.’

Naomi has traveled extensively in recent months, but she insists her daughter doesn’t mind flying.

She said, ‘I’m lucky my little one likes to travel like I do – no whining on takeoff or landing. She is a good girl: she sleeps very well, she hardly ever cries’

She added: “I always knew that one day I would become a mother, but it is the greatest joy I can ever imagine. I’m lucky to have her and I know it.’

The supermodel – who is believed to be single – surprised her Instagram followers in May by sharing a photo of herself cradling her newborn daughter.

She offered a first look at her new arrival with a photo of her daughter, writing: ‘A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother.

“So honored to have this gentle soul in my life, there are no words to describe the lifelong bond I now share with you, my angel. There is no greater love.’

Naomi was last in a relationship with rapper Skepta in 2018, but the following year she had an affair with Liam Payne. She has also had high profile relationships over the years with the likes of Diddy, Robert De Niro, Mike Tyson and Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin.

While notoriously private about her love life, she has previously stated that she is “on good terms” with her exes and that she is not currently dating anyone new.

HOW DID NAOMI BECOME A MOTHER AT 50 YEARS?

Naomi has not revealed how she welcomed her daughter, but has previously spoken about her many options for starting a family

surrogacy

Some adult mothers choose to have a baby through surrogacy, when one person has a baby for a couple who cannot have a child of their own.

Direct surrogacy uses the surrogate’s own eggs to conceive and can take place at home using artificial insemination, using an insemination kit, or through a clinic using IUI or IVF where the surrogate acts as a known egg donor.

Surrogacy is legal in the UK, but it is illegal to advertise surrogate mothers. No financial benefit other than reasonable costs can be paid to the Surrogate.

Naomi previously hinted that she would be looking into surrogacy when she said, “I think about having kids all the time. But now with the way the science is, I think I can do it whenever I want.’

PREGNANCY

More mothers wait until later in life to have children, but pregnancy after 50 is still quite rare.

A woman’s fertility begins to decline in her early 30s. After age 35, her number of viable eggs begins to decline more rapidly.

However, celebrities have made headlines for having children in their later years, including Janet Jackson who gave birth to her son, Eissa Al Mana, at the age of 50.

Naomi said she wanted to welcome a child with a partner and said, “I do want a father figure. I think it’s important. It’s how I feel today sitting here talking to you’

She also hinted that she wanted to start a traditional family when she announced, “I want the same things as every other woman: the house, the kids, the place.”

In another interview, she said: ‘I would like to have children. I don’t ignore anything in life. I love children and always will.’
