A live-in nanny has been paid a staggering sum of money after her creepy boss, a fried chicken magnate, secretly filmed her with cameras hidden in her bedroom.
Michael Esposito, 35, owner of three LaRosa Grill franchises, was caught secretly filming 28-year-old Kelly Andrade naked.
He secretly installed a smoke detector in the bedroom of his young Colombian au pair, resulting in “hundreds” of explicit videos being recorded of the unsuspecting nanny.
Esposito must now pay a whopping $2.78 million after the creepy chicken boss’s perverse plan fell apart when Andrade discovered the camera’s memory card full of X-rated images.
A jury in Manhattan awarded Michael and his wife Danielle Esposito $780,000 in damages for emotional distress, plus $2 million in punitive damages against Esposito.
The nanny, who lives with her, sued her boss in 2021 for allegedly secretly filming her undressing “hundreds” of times using a camera hidden in a smoke detector in her room.

Esposito, a father of four, was arrested on March 24, 2021, after Colombian-born Andrade claimed she found the camera in a home on Staten Island, New York.
She claimed that her boss rushed home and tried to break down her door when he discovered she had found the hidden camera.
The then 25-year-old nanny claimed she jumped from her bedroom window to escape the terrifying confrontation, thinking Esposito might have a gun.
Esposito, owner of three LaRosa Grill franchises, was charged with unlawful surveillance.
Andrade alleged in her lawsuit that she spent hundreds of hours in training before being hired by Cultural Care Au Pair, who sent her to the United States to work.
According to the Post, she was placed with Esposito and his wife Danielle to care for their four children at the family’s $800,000 waterfront home in Tottenville.
Through an interpreter, Andrade told the Post that she was initially excited about the chance to learn English and work in the U.S. The Espositos gave her her own bedroom while she watched their young children.
She says she became suspicious when she saw Esposito regularly adjusting the smoke alarm in her bedroom.

Three weeks into her job, she inspected the device and discovered the camera.
She says her boss came home “within minutes” and “seemed very concerned when he got home.”
The au pair claims she tried to pretend to be asleep, but Esposito repeatedly banged on the locked door and she jumped out of a window in fear.
She then ran down the street and fled to a nearby police station, where she handed over the memory card she had found in the camera.
The lawsuit alleges that there are “hundreds of recordings” showing her nude or partially clothed.
