  • “It can’t happen or we won’t be the United States of America,” she added

Nancy Pelosi thinks the US is doomed if Donald Trump becomes president again and says the latest indictment against the ex-president is the most likely to land him in prison rather than the White House.

The former Speaker of the House of Representatives launched a war of words with Trump after claiming he looked like a “scared puppy” during his DC appearance on Thursday.

She also called Trump’s third and final indictment “nice” and said he knows he will have to face the music as he tries to overturn the 2020 election results.

If Trump were to run for president again, Pelosi claims, the US as we know it would no longer exist.

After the ex-House Speaker said Trump looked like a “scared puppy” at his arraignment on Thursday, the former president called Pelosi the “Wicked Witch”

Trump responded to Pelosi’s “scared puppy” comments by calling her the “Wicked Witch” who “someone will live in hell.”

When asked about the possibility of Trump getting a second chance at the White House, Pelosi told New York Magazine: “Don’t think about that.”

“Don’t think the world is on fire,” the California Democrat added in the article published Monday. “It can’t happen, or we won’t be the United States of America.”

“If he became president, it would be a criminal enterprise in the White House.”

Trump now has three charges against him, the first from March when he was charged with paying hush money to porn star Stormy Daniels. The second came in June regarding his mishandling of classified information. And most recently this month, the ex-president was charged with four counts of conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election results.

“The charges against the president are outstanding,” Pelosi told NYMag when referring to the latest indictments and the few dozen in the classified documents case.

She added, “They’re beautiful and intricate, and they probably have a higher chance of conviction than anything I’d think of.”

Pelosi, while still House Speaker, oversaw two impeachments against Trump in the lower chamber. Both times, Trump was acquitted by the Senate.

While tearing apart Trump’s tough image, Pelosi said the 2024 Republican frontrunner looked like a “scared puppy” during his appearance in court on Thursday.

The California lawmaker, now called speaker emerita, ridiculed Trump hours after he pleaded not guilty after a look at special counsel Jack Smith at a federal courthouse.

“I wasn’t in court, of course. But when I saw him get out of his car and this or that, I saw a scared puppy,” she said, after Trump flew to Washington for his 27-minute hearing before a US magistrate, then addressed cameras and stormed the city where he lived four years.

Trump appeared in court in Washington, D.C., on Thursday for arraignment in his third and most recent indictment. Pelosi said, “When I saw him get out of his car…I saw a scared puppy”

“He looked very, very, very concerned about fate,” Pelosi told MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell. “I didn’t see any bravura or self-confidence or anything like that. He knows he knows the truth, that he lost the election and now he has to face the music.’

Trump said that now that Pelosi has come after him, he can go after her. He claimed he wanted to remain respectful when it came to the story of her husband falling victim to a home invasion.

“I purposely didn’t comment on Nancy Pelosi’s very weird story about her husband, but now I can because she gleefully said something about me that was really mean,” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social.

He said it was “a mean thing to say.”

“She is an evil witch whose journey from hell begins and ends with her,” Trump wrote. “She’s a sick and demented psychopath who will one day live in HELL!”
