Legendary soap opera actress Nancy Frangione, known for her devious roles on Another World and All My Children, has passed away. She was only 70 years old.

Frangione, one of the most iconic villains on daytime television, passed away at her Massachusetts home on August 18, according to an obituary — though a cause of death has not yet been determined.

Her passing comes after a stellar career that spanned decades, in which she played icy villain Cecile DePoulignac on “Another World,” and dastardly Tara Martin on ABC’s iconic daytime drama.

She was born on July 10, 1953 in the same town where she passed away last Friday, in historic Barnstable just off Cape Cod.
