Naked teen shocks burglars who broke into his Allambie Heights home on Sydney’s northern beaches

A teenager recalled his encounter with a burglar who broke into his home and entered his bedroom while he was sleeping stark naked.

Jack, 17, was sleeping late on Tuesday when he heard unexpected noises at his Allambie Heights home on Sydney’s northern beaches.

He eventually got up to investigate and annoyed the intruders, making eye contact with one of them while still naked.

The teenager assured 2GB breakfast host Ben Fordham that he was fully clothed during Friday’s radio interview.

‘It’s been really hot for the last week and I was trying to relieve myself of the heat so I was naked!’ Jack remembered.

“My back is to the door and I hear someone open the door and I’m still half asleep thinking ‘I hope it’s not my mom because I’m naked.

He was a foot away from me, like I could feel him.

“I heard this guy say some profanity that I won’t say on air, try to close the door lightly.”

Jack got out of bed, and seconds later, he saw one of the burglars outside his house coming down the stairs.

“We closed eye contact and at that point, I start to freak out,” he said.

Jack called his mother to see if she was expecting visitors before calling the police, who arrived within two minutes.

“I would have gone after them (the thieves) but I had to get dressed quickly and by then it was done,” he said.

Jack was unharmed, and the robbers fled empty-handed.

NSW Police are investigating the raid which occurred shortly before midday on Tuesday.

One of the robbers was described as being in his 20s, Caucasian, wearing a gray hoodie, black pants and white shoes.
