A young man was ordered to appear in court for hours after an alleged late-night violent incident that led to police tasing him twice while he was naked.
Bizarre footage filmed by shocked bystanders shows 23-year-old Puhi Clark, in his birthday suit and nothing but socks, as he was surrounded by police in Perth’s busy nightclub district of Northbridge on Saturday evening.
Dozens of stunned partygoers watched as Clark allegedly tried to open the door of a stopped Uber and enter the vehicle while the driver was still inside.
Footage showed Clark sitting on top of the driver, gripping the steering wheel with both hands as he was surrounded by police and bystanders who tried to drag him out of the shared vehicle to detain him.
Clark is heard screaming in pain after being tasered.
He is also accused of previously assaulting a female police officer.
A male officer fired their Taser at him before Clark allegedly struck his female colleague in the head and face, who suffered minor injuries.

Dozens of stunned partygoers watched as Puhi Clark allegedly tried to open the door of a stopped Uber and attempted to enter the vehicle with the driver still inside.
Clark then lashed out at one of the male officer’s male colleagues and a member of the public before running down the street with a handcuff still on one of his arms.
Clark also appeared to stick his tongue out and taunt shocked onlookers.
He was eventually pursued by additional officers called to the scene and members of the public.
He allegedly tried to steal the Uber before five officers and several bystanders eventually pulled him out of the vehicle and ultimately detained him.
Clark was charged with a series of crimes, including disorderly conduct in a public place, obstructing police officers, assaulting a public official and attempting to steal a motor vehicle.
He spent a night in custody before appearing in the Perth Magistrate’s Court on Sunday, where the prosecutor described the charges as bizarre.
Clark was granted bail and must adhere to a strict 9pm curfew
He refused to reveal this while naked as he tried to hide his face when confronted by reporters as he left the court.
