Police say a man lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a parked car. Danser, a passenger, was hospitalized in critical condition and died on October 22.

Sarah’s father Dan Danser added: ‘I really saw how much of a difference she made to the lives of others. I think she saved my life once while diving in Indonesia.”

Her Naked and Afraid co-star Melissa Lauren expressed her sadness, saying, “Sarah was [one] of the most adventurous souls I have ever met.

“Not only was she an avid survivalist at Naked and Afraid (she completed XL with me in South Africa), but also a breast cancer survivor who maintained an inspiring and positive attitude throughout her treatment.”

Lauren described Sarah’s love of the ocean and nature, calling her a “modern pirate.”

She also emphasized how Sarah looked at the world with childlike wonder.

“Rest assured Sarah, I know you are exploring somewhere,” her post concluded.

Island Divers Hawaii, where Sarah worked, shared a heartfelt tribute on their Facebook page on October 24.

‘It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to a good friend and great captain. Sarah brought so much energy to everyone she came into contact with. You will be greatly missed,” their message read.
