Naga Munchetty sent fans into a frenzy over her ‘see-through’ top on the BBC’s Breakfast show on Thursday morning.

The newscaster, 48, was presenting alongside Charlie Stayt and looked typically dapper despite the early 6am start.

She layered a sheer, long-sleeved top over a black vest for a chic look, which she paired with patterned shorts.

The star also opted for typically flawless makeup for the cameras, including a dark red lip.

The high-necked top was met with much admiration from viewers, who were quick to express their praise on Twitter.

It comes after BBC Breakfast observers criticized Naga for being “rude and arrogant” towards Charlie Stayt, which they claimed makes for “uncomfortable viewing”.

The newscaster, 47, is often criticized by fans for her icy on-air exchanges with her co-stars, including beloved weather presenter Carol Kirkwood, 60.

And over the past week, Twitter users have highlighted Naga’s ‘spiky relationship’ with Charlie, 60, while calling for her to be fired.

One wrote: ‘Naga why are you so rude and arrogant to Charlie? You wouldn’t stand for him if he did that. He really goes out of his way not to let you bother him, you are often rude to Carol too. #thug #BBCBreakfast.’

Charlie recently interrupted Naga and criticized her experience.

The hosts were caught arguing live again when the duo disagreed on how a 6ft 4in jockey Jack Andrews would compare to his shorter competitors at Cheltenham.

Reading Jack’s testimony, he said, “He says, ‘If you’re short, sometimes they put you on top of the horse’s back, and they can get the better of you.’

“Whereas if you’re a big boy, you can rough up a horse.”

He then told Naga, “Then the much smaller jockey would sit on top of the horse, while he can wrap his legs around the horse more.”

Naga then looked at Charlie, confused, before commenting, “I’m not sure it’s completely comfortable wrapping your legs around the girth of a horse as it gallops who knows how many miles per hour.”

She added: ‘When you’re galloping, you’re supposed to be on top of the horse. You can’t just sit back and jump around on the horse.

And while Naga was speaking, Charlie interrupted her and dug into her experience.

He said: ‘I think what I’ll do is take testimony from Jack Andrews, the jockey, about his experience in the area.’

He added another taunt by saying: ‘That’s all I’m saying. I think she probably knows what he’s talking about.
