Nadia Bartel reveals she kept her romance with boyfriend Peter Dugmore secret for almost a year as she shares new details about their relationship

Nadia Bartel has shared new details about her relationship with boyfriend Peter Dugmore.

The former WAG, 38, revealed she has been dating Peter for three years and they initially kept their relationship a secret.

‘I have been in a relationship with him for almost three years. But he’s a nice guy,” Nadia said during an appearance on The Morning Show on Monday.

She also revealed that Peter works in the fitness industry and owns several gyms.

Nadia and Peter went Instagram official in December 2022 by getting hot and heavy in a photo shared to Instagram Stories.

In August, the former WAG called her boyfriend “The One” in a video where she reflected on finding love again.

In the Instagram clip, Nadia spoke to her fans while applying a fake tan and dressed in workout clothes.

“I felt like my life was over, which is weird to think now,” she began, discussing her divorce from Jimmy Bartel after 11 years together, in 2019.

“You really think you’ll never be able to date again, I know I felt that way. I felt like having two little kids and not having time for anything else.”

She continued, “It was really hard for me too because I had been with my ex since I was 22 or 23, so to even think about dating again felt like the strangest thing to me, and I knew it not even. how I would approach that.’

Nadia went on to say that she “didn’t even want to meet anyone” and was “so happy with my two boys.”

However, her interest was piqued when she received an Instagram message from Peter.

“I don’t normally respond to Instagram posts, and I don’t know if that was because I felt lonely, but I responded,” she said.

‘I looked at his profile and we had some mutual friends and he seemed like a nice guy. He didn’t have many posts either, and I liked that.’

Nadia continued: ‘I really enjoyed the conversations, but I never thought I would ever see this person – it was just nice to talk.

“I was in a good place as far as my mental health was concerned and I didn’t want to put myself in a position where I could get hurt again.”

The Henne designer eventually met Peter at The Tan, a park in Melbourne, and said they have been together ever since.

“I never thought I would meet this person, but there was something about seeing and hearing his voice and his mannerisms. I just immediately felt a spark and energy, which was crazy because I hadn’t felt that with anyone since I was born. split,” she said.

Nadia also said that she and Peter have discussed having children.

“I’m older now, so I don’t know when or if that could happen, but it’s nice to get to the point where you can feel that way again,” she added.

Nadia has two sons with ex-husband Jimmy, Aston and Henley.
